We have developed a 4 geophone seismic cone for research purposes. Three geophones are placed at the tip in the X, Y and Z directions with a fourth geophone one meter back from the tip. With this configuration it is possible to measure the first arrival in all three directions at the tip as well as the local shear wave velocity between the fourth geophone and the tip. This seismic cone is used for our commercial testing as well.

CSW testing is carried out in conjunction with Prof Gerhard Heymann who does interpretation for the Seismic Cone and CSW test.
